Urgent Care Physician

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an urgent care physician in South Carolina to provide walk-in services across a network of on-site clinics. Clinicians will manage an average patient volume of 30 to 40 patients per day, handling all urgent care case types including laceration repairs and incision and drainage procedures. This role features 12-hour day shifts operating from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, with no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services during 12-hour day shifts
• Evaluation and treatment of all urgent care case types
• Perform laceration repairs
• Perform incision and drainage procedures

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed: ASAP - Ongoing
• 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week
• Day shift
• Call required: No
• A minimum commitment of 36 hours per week is preferred, with at least one week per month

Qualifications

• Board certification required
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• BLS certification required
