We are seeking a flexible and patient-focused Urgent Care Physician to join a busy, multi-site urgent care network serving the Martinsburg, WV area. This opportunity is ideal for physicians who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and value variety in their work setting. The Urgent Care Physician will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in a walk-in urgent care setting.
Practice Info
- Busy, multi-site urgent care network
- Serving the Martinsburg, WV area
- Walk-in urgent care setting
- Clinics are open 7 days per week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Clinics are closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Provide efficient, evidence-based urgent care services
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float between urgent care locations as scheduled
- Participate in the education and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Shift & Schedule
- Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating to ensure coverage across weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Open availability
- Coverage includes weekends and holidays
- No overnight shifts
Requirements
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Active state medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration required by start date
- Prior Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
