Job Description Physician Urgent Care (Stockton, CA)
Organization: U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Northern California Health Care System
Location: Stockton VA Clinic (Richard A. Pittman VA Clinic), French Camp/Stockton, CA
- Schedule: Full time, Monday Friday, 07 00 (variable to total 36 clinical hours/week)
- Salary: $260,000 $325,000 per year

- Provide high-quality urgent care for Veterans managing acute/chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
- Conduct diagnostics, procedures, orders, referrals, and medication management
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including specialty services and resident training
- Ensure compliance with VA policies, patient safety, and national clinical standards
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Licensure: Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Residency: Completed ACGME/AOA-accredited residency Emergency Medicine strongly preferred; Family or Internal Medicine with significant EM experience accepted
- Citizenship: U.S. citizen (non-citizens eligible only if no qualified citizens available)
- Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Eligible for up to $200,000 over 1 5 years; application required within four months of start
