Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO) , you will join the thriving Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican ( , playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in our Capitola, CA clinic.

You will provide comprehensive Urgent Care services to a diverse community, focusing on lower acuity cases and a variety of acute illnesses and minor trauma. You'll benefit from a supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and personal well-being. Our clinic is open 7 days a week from 9am - 7pm.

  Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries for patients ages 3 months and older across the lifespan

  Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs, EKGs, and imaging

• n

  Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice

  n

• n

  Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based care model

  n

• n

  Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and care coordination when needed

  n

• n

  Practice within a highly respected, mission-driven organization

  Competitive annual salary guarantee of $376,200 with production bonuses

Job Requirements

Required

  Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine

  n

• n

  Active or eligible license in the state of California

  n
n
• n

  Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  n
n

Preferred

• n

  Spanish proficiency is a plus

  n
n
• n

  Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience

$370,000 - $376,200 /year
