Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages.
- Perform various procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and point-of-care lab interpretations.
- Manage acute and chronic health issues while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize electronic medical records (Epic) for documentation and charting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist in airway support and initial emergency stabilization when necessary.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Active Virginia license (Required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
- Active DEA registration (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an emergency department, primary care, or urgent care setting (Required)
- Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues (Required)
- Board Certification
- DEA Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Active Virginia State License
