Job details

Premier World Class Urgent Care and Primary Care Network in North Carolina with over 50 locations statewide. We have a two-decade track record of quality patient care and are a four-time recipient of the JCAHO Gold Seal of Approval for healthcare safety. Our centers offer services including accidents, medical illness, injuries, simple procedures (suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage), wound care, flu prevention and treatment, vaccinations and immunizations, labs and X-rays, physicals, employment-related services, and women’s health.

We are looking to hire Board Certified nurse practitioners or Physician Assistants with BLS Certification, an active NC provider license in good standing, and at least 1 year of provider experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care Medicine settings. Prior outpatient clinic or urgent care experience is preferred.

Job responsibilities

• PA or NP provider obtains an adequate history and performs a focused physical examination for the presenting problem
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on available information
• Administer appropriate medication or treatment as necessary
• May perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, or incision and drainage when necessary
• DOT certification is preferred; if not currently certified, you will be required to obtain certification within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

Board Certified NP or PA, BLS Certification, active NC Provider license in good standing, and related experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care Medicine. Prior outpatient or urgent care experience is preferred.
