We're a locally owned and operated franchise of The UPS Store — a full-service retail center offering shipping, printing, mailbox, notary, and small-business services. We're looking for a hands‑on, sales‑minded Center Manager to lead our team, take ownership of daily operations, and deliver the friendly, reliable service our customers count on.

Position Summary

The Center Manager runs the day-to-day operation of the store: leading and scheduling staff, driving sales and revenue goals, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and keeping the center organized, compliant, and profitable. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and wants ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily center operations and open/close procedures
• Hire, train, schedule, and coach a team of retail associates
• Drive sales, meet revenue and profit targets, and identify growth opportunities
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues
• Manage shipping services (UPS, freight, international) and packing standards
• Oversee print and finishing services, mailbox rentals, notary, and fingerprinting where offered
• Handle cash management, daily deposits, and end-of-day reconciliation
• Maintain inventory, place supply orders, and control costs
• Monitor store metrics and P&L; report results to the owner
• Execute local marketing and community outreach to grow the customer base
• Keep the center clean, well‑merchandised, and compliant with brand and safety standards

Qualifications (Required)

• 2+ years of retail or customer-service management experience
• Proven leadership: hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating a team
• Strong sales orientation and comfort meeting goals
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with POS systems and general computer/office software
• Ability to lift up to (50) lbs and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's a plus)

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience in shipping, printing, or a franchise retail environment
• Active notary commission (or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with The UPS Store systems and services
• Bilingual (language) a plus
