If you're looking for an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be part of a team that takes pride in its work, apply today and help us deliver a better night's sleep.Operate quilt cutting and sewing machines in a continuous flow manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to production and quality standards. Identify process disruptions or malfunctions and make minor adjustments according to standard operating procedures and protocols. Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on quilting equipment. Follow all safety policies and procedures defined by the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work-related injuries. Practice Lean principles and participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects. Manufacture sufficient quantities of quality quilted products per specified standards. Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic quilting machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitor the quilting process using meters, gauges, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to quilting equipment. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for quilting production processing. Resolve issues related to the quilting production, machinery, and processing operations.Must be at least 18 years or older. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. High school diploma or GED required. Entry level with little or no experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.
