Unloader - 1st Shift
PrideStaff is partnering with a leading distributor in Arden to find a dependable Unloader. In this role, you will safely operate material handling equipment to build customer orders, load delivery trucks, and ensure our products reach our customers efficiently.
Compensation: $17.83/hr (Strong possibility for overtime, plus weekend bonus opportunities)
Shift/Working Hours: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (Overtime hours: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm)
What You Will Do:
- Operate Equipment: Safely use material handling equipment—such as forklifts and pallet jacks—to move, store, and unload freight.
- Maintain Safety and Order: Complete required paperwork, inspect equipment daily, and keep a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Unload cartons from trailer and send down Conveyor.
- Inspect and identify carton and palletize like parts together.
- Label parts with appropriate put away label.
- Wrap pallets when complete using wrapping machine.
What You Will Bring:
Warehouse Expertise: A High School Diploma/GED and solid knowledge of basic safety, handling, and warehouse standards.
Equipment Experience: The ability or willingness to operate forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
Physical Capability: Comfort working at elevated heights, standing/walking for the full shift, and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
