As a UniVerse Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications using these technologies across various domains and industries.Responsibilities:Perform Universe/UniData/Pick application development including triage, design, coding, and unit testingParticipate in all phases of the development and system support life cycleWork directly with business partners and other I/T team members to understand desired system requirements and deliver effective solutions within the Agile/waterfall methodologyPerform code reviews within scrum teams to approve for Production deploymentConduct research to identify new solutions and methods to fulfill diverse and evolving business needsIdentify and drive process improvement opportunitiesMaintain a strong and collaborative relationship with delivery partners and business stakeholdersTroubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionalityRequirements Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in Universe/UniData/Pick application developmentProficient in Universe/UniData/Pick programming languages and environmentsExperience with UniVerse database or similar MultiValue environmentExperience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery etc.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integrationExperience with version control tools such as Git or SVNExperience with Agile development methodology and conceptsExcellent analytical skills to understand the requirements in detail, comment on the logical/usability gaps if any, analyze the technical feasibility and propose the solution approachAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentAt this time, ACE Tech Resources will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
