Probationary Appointment - School Year
Work Schedule: 8:15am 3:15pm
Description of Duties:
- Provides universal prekindergarten classroom-level support.
- Assists the classroom teacher throughout the day.
- Works with students to help build independence.
- Prepares materials for instruction.
- Works with students on behavioral and management needs.
- Provides a stable environment during transitions.
- Supervises children during instruction, meals, recess, arrival, dismissal, etc.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability of effectively communicate and work with children
- Wayne County residence is not required
