Per Diem Cleaning StaffPer Diem Cleaning Staff is responsible for providing support services and assistance in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness by ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for the guests, patients, or occupants.Essential Functions:Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.Handle and maintain linen supplies, including changing bed linens, replenishing towels and toiletries, and collecting and sorting soiled linens for laundry services.Properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures and regulations.Monitor and restock supplies and amenities, including toiletries, towels, cleaning products, and other necessary items.Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including daily cleaning logs, room occupancy status, maintenance requests, and other relevant documentation.Follow established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.Qualifications:Customer Service Experience 1-2 years preferred or Housekeeping Experience 0-1 year preferred.Familiarity with different cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of the assigned areas.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.Customer service skills to ensure guest/patient satisfaction.Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.Trustworthiness and a strong work ethic to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.Work Schedule:Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 7AM-3:30PMWork Location: 55 Fruit StreetPay Range: $17.71 - $24.28/HourlyEEO Statement:1200 The General Hospital Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
