Key Responsibilities Include
- Supervising nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring effective workflow and quality care.
- Hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance, managing employee relations, and resolving complaints.
- Planning staffing schedules, assigning duties, and adjusting staffing as needed for resident safety and staff availability.
- Conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in long-term care or post-acute settings.
- At least 1 year in supervisory or management roles preferred.
- Current, unencumbered RN license and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and regulations.
