Unit Manager – Full Time, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a RN Unit Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, 40-hour position on 1st shift , with a supportive schedule that includes:
- Nursing on-call rotation
- MOD (Manager on Duty) – Weekend coverage

Responsibilities
- Day-to-day coordination and 24-hour oversight of the unit.
- Monitor resident care by licensed nurses and LNAs.
- Ensure resident care and documentation are in compliance with HIPAA, State and Federal regulations for healthcare.
- Ensure physician orders are followed, monitor medication & treatment schedules, and MDS documentation is accurate.
- Collaborate with other departments; assist ADON; work most closely and under the direction of the Director of Nurses.
- Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care to ensure that care needs are being met.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident-related care information to ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Provide overall supervision of Licensed Nurses, LNAs and LMNAs and the care provided to residents on the assigned unit.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- RN with management experience.
- Must possess and maintain a current Nursing license and be in good standing with the State of New Hampshire Nursing Board.
