Lamar Estates is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at our Assisted Living Facilities in Lamar, CO, USA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing units, including scheduling, staffing, and quality of care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Manage medication administration, including ordering and controlling medications, and monitoring resident responses
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident condition, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues
• Provide education and training to staff on resident care, medication administration, and disease management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, a leadership role preferred
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
