Mobile Engineer

Operates, inspects, and maintains HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities. Focuses on efficiency, safety, and downtime reduction, conducting inspections and repairs on property interior and exterior areas, including HVAC/R systems and related equipment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, and other systems.
  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and building repair.
  • Familiarize with equipment and correct usage.
  • Conduct facility inspections and report conditions.
  • Submit daily P-card receipts.
  • Update work order status in real time.
  • Use CMMS system (Corrigo) for all work.
  • Maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Be available for call‑in work.

Required Qualifications

  • Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Minimum 4 years experience in building engineering with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Experience troubleshooting commercial or supermarket refrigeration.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing CMMS (Work Order) systems.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical, refrigeration, HVAC.

Location

Mobile position covering Escondido, CA and surrounding area. On‑site – Escondido, CA, San Marcos, CA.

Work Shift

Standard business hours with on‑call availability.

Compensation

Estimated compensation: $76,975.00 – $96,220.00 USD per year.
