Underwriting Assistant - Specialty Auto

Supporting the operational and service objectives of the S&S Transportation Specialty Auto team, the full-time remote Underwriting Assistant - Specialty Auto will assist with the review, preparation, processing, and maintenance of underwriting and policy information for new and renewal business. Key responsibilities Validate data entry in underwriting systems and verify documentation for coverage and limits Draft and verify policy documents, approve policy drafts, and process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements Collaborate with other departments to resolve policy questions and participate in system testing and process improvement initiatives Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required 3 years of insurance or underwriting support experience is required Working knowledge of Policy Decisions with an emphasis on Auto Insurance rate and rule application General understanding of insurance forms, endorsements, classifications, and exposure information Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
