To support a growing team, the full-time Texas Licensed Underwriter will assess and analyze insurance risks, determine coverage terms, and manage relationships with brokers while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assess and price renewals, new business, and endorsements according to underwriting guidelines Review and authorize binding authority requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with brokers to negotiate terms and establish premium rates Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Business Administration or Risk Management Minimum of 5 years of experience in Binding Authority and Insurance Underwriting with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree State P&C and/or surplus line licenses required Preferred certifications include Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Strong understanding of risk evaluation and policy language
