Evaluating and underwriting insurance risks for the 10-999 life segment, the full-time remote Associate Underwriter, Oregon Licensed, will build relationships with producers and internal teams while applying underwriting guidelines to ensure profitable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Analyze and underwrite insurance risks, ensuring sound risk selection and profitable outcomes Build and maintain effective relationships with producers and internal teams to support business growth Apply underwriting policies and state regulatory requirements to make accurate and compliant decisions Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred 2+ years of experience in underwriting or a similar analytical role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Familiarity with state insurance statutes and regulations preferred Strong analytical and decision-making skills
