Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Schedule: Full-Time
6:00 AM-2:00 PM - 40 Hours | Weekend availability required
10:00PM-6:00AM - 40 hours | Weekend availability required
Pay Rate: $15.91 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to help maintain safety and security at our facility. This position involves patrolling, monitoring, and responding to security concerns while providing a professional and courteous presence for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will:
- Patrol assigned areas, including walking or vehicle patrols.
- Monitor for security threats, hazards, or emergencies and respond appropriately.
- Provide site-specific support, such as lobby/visitor reception, loss prevention, or loading dock security.
- Prepare accurate incident and activity reports.
- Follow all company policies, emergency procedures, and Use of Force guidelines.
- Represent the company with professionalism, including maintaining appearance and customer service standards.
Qualifications
Required / Strongly Preferred:
- 1 year of security experience
- Open and weekend availability
Preferred:
- Driver's license
