This is a fully remote position , open to candidates based in 55 countries, including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, India, France, Netherlands, Singapore.

Pay: $90-$170/hr

We are engaging experienced UltraTax CS Specialists and tax professionals to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world tax workflows within UltraTax CS. In this role, you'll use your hands-on tax preparation experience to complete realistic tasks and contribute high-quality data that supports the development of next-generation AI systems.

Scope of Work

• Complete realistic tax preparation and compliance workflows using UltraTax CS.
• Prepare and review Federal and State tax returns based on provided scenarios.
• Enter and review taxpayer information, income, deductions, credits, and other relevant tax data.
• Review tax calculations and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
• Work with common individual, business, corporate, and partnership tax scenarios.
• Explain the steps followed to complete different workflows in UltraTax CS.
• Review completed tax work for accuracy and compliance.
• Create realistic examples based on professional tax preparation workflows.
• Document processes and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong hands-on professional experience with UltraTax CS.
• Professional experience in tax preparation, tax accounting, or tax compliance.
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing U.S. Federal and State tax returns.
• Familiarity with individual and/or business tax returns, including corporations and partnerships.
• Strong understanding of common U.S. tax forms, terminology, and filing processes.
• Ability to independently navigate UltraTax CS and complete common tax workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tax or data-entry errors.
• Ability to clearly explain tax preparation steps and decisions.
