Ultrasound Technician (Vascular Sonographer)
Physician Consultants of Georgia (PCG), located in Macon, Georgia, is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated ultrasound technician to join our growing outpatient specialty practice, dedicated to exceptional patient care through clinical excellence, teamwork, and innovation.

Position Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality vascular ultrasound examinations.
- Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring comfort and professionalism.
- Document findings accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Adhere to all HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS and/or RVT certification required (or certification eligible with ability to obtain promptly).
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence.

- Vascular imaging
- Dialysis access evaluations
- Peripheral arterial and venous studies
- Nephrology and/or vascular surgery experience
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
