Location: Carmel, Westfield and Noblesville, IN.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am-3:30 pm. No Call, No Nights, No Weekends
Position Description
Provides ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians including scheduling, patient care during procedure and communication with patients.
Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound images.
Interacts with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.
Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control.
Follows examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty.
Oversees patient scheduling.
Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings.
Conducts scanning procedures.
Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment.
Orders and stocks all ultrasound supplies.
Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files.
Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions.
Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
Minimum Education/Experience
Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school.
Three to four years of directly related experience will be accepted in lieu of Associates Degree at the discretion of the practice.
and 1 to 2 years related/applicable experience.
Licensure/Certification
Certification is required: Current ARDMS or eligible
Current CPR certification
