We’re seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a day‑shift, 36‑hour/week contract in beautiful Rifle, CO . This role offers a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment while enjoying the charm of a scenic mountain town.
The ideal candidate will bring strong diagnostic imaging skills, professionalism, and flexibility — especially to assist with coverage during the week of Christmas to ensure continuous patient care through the holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Ensure image quality, accuracy, and appropriate patient positioning
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient care
- Accurately document and report findings in the patient’s medical record
- Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort at all times
Qualifications
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent) required
- Current BLS certification (through AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ultrasound experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt and provide quality care in a contract setting
