Position: Ultrasound Technician
Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time position. Weekend and on call rotation required.
What You’ll Do
- Operate imaging equipment to obtain images of designated portions of the body.
- Perform thorough screening of patients for incompatible implants and orthotic devices such as MRI environment.
- Participate in required education, competencies, and annual training.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
- Follow HIPAA compliance.
- Demonstrate knowledge of supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to the on‑call schedule and follow proper response time.
- Assist radiologist in PICC line placement.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate Degree required.
- Registered ultrasonographer or registry eligible.
- ARDMS preferred.
- Required 6–12+ months experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation.
- Able to lift over 50 lbs.
