Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications
Education- Graduate of an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required.
- No experience required.
- 1 year of experience Preferred.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Must become registered by the ARDMS within (6) months of employment.
- Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment.
- (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required.
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Preferred.
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Preferred.
