Payroll Manager On UltiproSpencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team of consultants, seeking a payroll manager on Ultipro.Responsibilities:Process U.S. bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality when handling employee data.Process prior-quarter wage and tax adjustments.Apply company payroll policies and procedures consistently each payroll cycle.Support year-end processing to ensure W-2 accuracy.Maintain payroll records in compliance with audit requirements.Update desktop procedures.Run ad hoc payroll reports as requested.Assist with special payroll projects and system updates as assigned.Required Qualification(s):BS degree or equivalent payroll experience.7+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state processing.Extensive payroll compliance and employment tax background.Strong attention to detail.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.RSU/stock payroll processing experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.UKG Pro payroll experience.Preferred Qualification(s):Experience with payrolls larger than 15,000 employees.Payroll accounting experience, including journal entries.Familiarity with SAP (S/4 HANA) and BlackLine.Familiarity with UKG's UTA and/or WFM (formerly Workforce Dimensions).Experience in process optimization.Knowledge of RPA, preferably Automation Anywhere.Ability to build Cognos reports.Experience with UKG Pro Backoffice.Dayforce Canada payroll experience.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.Garnishment administration knowledge.Duration:This is a project-based consulting opportunity with a start date of early October 2025 with an initial duration through October 2026, with the possibility of extending.Level of Effort:Full TimeWorking Hours:40 hoursAbout Us:Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is a Professional Services firm that delivers comprehensive business solutions worldwide.
