We are excited to welcome a detail-oriented, experienced UKG People Assist Implementation Specialist to lead and support the successful implementation and ongoing support of the UKG People Assist platform. This dual-role position involves coordinating project efforts, gathering business requirements, configuring the system, and providing ongoing functional and end-user support post-implementation. You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for UKG People Assist, ensuring it aligns with organizational needs and delivers a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation

• Lead the planning, configuration, testing, and deployment of UKG People Assist.
• Collaborate with internal HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design workflows, case types, and knowledge content to meet business needs.
• Coordinate data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Develop documentation including project plans, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Post-Implementation Support

• Act as the primary point of contact for system support and issue resolution.
• Provide day-to-day functional support to HR teams and end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflows, case routing, and content delivery.
• Monitor system performance and user satisfaction, recommending improvements as needed.

Training and Documentation

• Develop and deliver training for HR users and end-users on People Assist functionality.
• Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and support materials.
• Drive adoption through ongoing education and change management initiatives.
• Partner with HR teams to review processes and identify opportunities to optimize usage of UKG People Assist.
• Stay current on new UKG features and functionality, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT, HRIS, and other cross-functional teams for system integrations and improvements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience with UKG People Assist implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, shared services, or case management workflows.
• Hands-on experience configuring case types, workflows, and knowledge libraries in People Assist.
• Ability to analyze business processes and propose system-based solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a project-based environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with other UKG modules (e.g., UKG Pro, Core HR, Talent, EE Voice, Payroll, People Analytics).
• Familiarity with service delivery models and HR technology best practices.
• Change management or training experience is a plus.

This is a 6-month contract engagement with a possible extension.

100% remote with some Arizona timezone meetings, but flexible hours outside of those.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $40.00/hr. - $65.00/hr. (approx. $80,000 - $130,000 annualized). Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
