SAP UI5 DeveloperWe are seeking a UI5 Developer for a contract role based in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working on-site for a minimum of four days per week, with a preference for five days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment.
This role requires the ability to work independently, taking high-level functional designs to create robust solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild custom UI5 applications with a focus on JavaScript, not Fiori development.Work within an S/4 HANA environment to develop and deploy solutions.Collaborate with technical and functional teams to design and analyze solutions.Develop modularized ABAP code and handle full lifecycle custom development, including enhancements.Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for application deployment.Work independently to deliver on project priorities.Required QualificationsExperience building custom applications with SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.Proficiency with Business Application Studio (BAS).Experience working in an S/4 HANA environment.Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code.Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, and data modeling concepts.Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views.Experience with Fiori Elements.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Git for version control.Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.Experience extending and integrating new solutions with pre-existing custom solutions.Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated pay range for this position is $90.00/hr to $100.00/hr W2. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
