UI DeveloperThe UI Developer will have a unique opportunity to join an UX team that is driving design and development standards across the organization and helping make a key difference in improving efficiency and accessibility in our internal products. Specifically, this role will guide front-end/UI development of our employee-facing design system, while also collaborating on other projects across Operations.Key responsibilities:Build reusable UI components that can be easily maintained and updatedTranslate Figma designs into responsive web pagesImplement web components from a Web Component Library into the codebaseCollaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in the design and development processEnsure web pages are optimized for performance and accessibilityTest and debug code to ensure functionality across multiple browsers and devicesDocument code and provide clear instructions for other developers to use and maintain the codebaseRequirements:Strong proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 and vanilla JS (5+ years)Experience working with Figma or other design tools to translate designs into codeExperience creating web components, specifically using StencilJS or similar tools, is highly desirableExperience using Git for version control and collaboration with other developersKnowledge of, or experience working with, UI style guides and design systems.Understanding of responsive design principles and ability to create responsive web pagesKnowledge of web performance optimization techniquesStrong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality codeExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code issuesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with Frameworks (Angular, React) is preferred but not requiredRequired Skills: CSS, Java, HTML. Additional Skills: JavaScript, Web Developer.
