Remote Contract General

UI/UX DesignerContract - Long Term with potential to hireFULLY REMOTETo be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software, low to high fidelity prototyping, and wireframe tools e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, InVision etc. Ideally, if you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes insights and working with Revit/Autodesk add-ins/applications/software or within the architectural and design space, we’d like to meet you.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Product Manager, Sales and marketing to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experienceWork collaboratively with developer(s) to design and adapt proposed design to any development limitationsDevelop intuitive and user centered designsExecute/Review visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development teamConceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocksCreate user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideasCreate fresh, innovative and inspiring visuals that push UXUI designs of our Revit add-ins/plugins and software to the next levelGather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Sr.

Product manager and Product teamIllustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemapsBring your designs to life and help us test and learn quicker by UI mockups and interactive prototypes that clearly illustrate how application/software will lookCreate original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholdersIdentify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)Conduct usability testing, user and design researchConduct competitor and customer analysisAnalyze user feedback and behavior and iterate to enhance existing user experience/interface designsConduct layout adjustments based on user feedback and review of analyticsConduct UXUI reviews with developer(s) to ensure adherence to UX/UI design specificationsDevelop and adhere to branding and graphic elements incl.

style standards on fonts, colors and imagesCollaborate with other UXUI designers on the teamAssist in creating a library and design system for digital software and services being createdRequirements:Understand best in class design principlesProven work experience as a UI/UX DesignerPrevious experience working with/for architects/interior designers is preferred.Portfolio of design projects; including but not limited to developing Revit Autodesk applications, plug-ins or softwareUnderstand graphic design, visual design, human behavior/psychologyPrevious experience developing applications and software for other manufacturers within the construction/build space is preferredKnowledge of wireframing and prototyping toolsUp-to-date knowledge of prototyping and design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision and FigmaTeam spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholdersGood time-management skills
