Design interfaces alongside the engineers building them, in the same repository and the same tokens.
Design interfaces alongside the engineers building them, in the same repository and the same tokens. This is a remote full-time role at Devinity Solutions LLC, a software engineering firm of 60 people founded in 2016.
About the role
Design handed over as a static file drifts during implementation. We keep design and engineering together, with tokens and components as the shared language.
You will work on client products and our own, from early flows through to production detail.
What you will do
- Design interfaces for web and mobile products
- Build and maintain design systems and tokens
- Work directly with engineers through implementation
- Make accessibility a design decision rather than a later fix
- Prototype flows before committing to a direction
What we are looking for
- A portfolio of shipped product work, not concept pieces
- Practical accessibility knowledge — contrast, focus, keyboard interaction
- Comfort working within engineering constraints rather than around them
Useful, not required
- Front-end implementation ability
- Motion and interaction design
- Bilingual or right-to-left interface experience
How to apply
Email us with what you have built and why it was difficult. A CV is fine, but the thing we read first is the description of a hard problem you solved.
