Senior Frontend EngineerWe are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who has experience building or working with Design Systems & Component Libraries that support numerous applications on varying tech stacks that maintain digital brand standards and create delightful omni-channel experiences.What you’ll do:Introduce, maintain, and advance standard tools and processes that enable repeatable and scalable omni-channel successBuild and maintain documentation and training to enable designers and developers to effectively use our design systemProvide technical thought leadership and contribute to next iterations of the design system based on evolving enterprise needs and trends in technologyDrive the implementation of our visual language in coordination with our design and development leadersBuild components that can be delivered to products across our product catalogue targeting the product’s tech stackWhen you join us you’ll bring:Strong working experience and knowledge of Web Components – HTML, CSS, JavaScript are a must (Tailwinds, Bootstrap, React, Angular, Vue, experience are all pluses)Comfort with webpack, rollup, or other similar packaging toolsExperience in Azure DevOps to advise on best practices and build pipelines that automates moving of visual components from Figma to ZeroHeight and beyond, integrating test into pipelines, and deploying artifacts for use in different environmentsStrong working experience with Agile Development processes and toolsProfessional engineering experience working with UX in an enterprise environment, or large software development organizationDemonstrated experience in project management to include planning, estimation, execution, issue and risk management, and resource allocationProven ability to self-start, share ideas, and effectively communicate to varying stakeholder audiences both written and verballyProven ability to generate positive results working both independently and as a contributing member of a larger teamSoft skills to engage and partner with other developers to coach them with adoption problemsWorking knowledge in UX design software (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)Understanding of accessibility best practices, and how to implement and test for accessibilityAbility to collaborate with designers on APIs and aligning code with design assetsAbility to make connections and see holistic impacts to parts of the system – anticipating needs and consequencesThis role is perfect for you if:You enjoy the challenge of digital transformation and the opportunity to develop the tools required for true omni-channel experiencesYou love mentoring engineers and helping them progress on their career pathYou thrive on the prospect of elevating the quality of products across a vast product catalogueRequired Skills: React, Tailwinds CSS, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, StoryBook, ADO repositories, Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD, MVC,.NET 5 Basic Qualification: must have at least 7 years of experience in web development and UX design.
