The candidate will work on low-level firmware, system boot, and platform initialization.Key Responsibilities:Develop and debug UEFI/BIOS firmware components using EDK IIWork on bootloader, secure boot, power management, and hardware initializationCustomize UEFI drivers, protocols, and servicesOptimize boot performance and troubleshoot firmware issuesCollaborate with hardware, OS, and validation teamsMust-Have Skills:Strong C/C++ programmingHands-on UEFI/BIOS development experienceGood understanding of UEFI architecture, boot process, and system architecture (x86/ARM)Experience with EDK II and firmware debugging tools (JTAG, Lauterbach, etc.)Knowledge of ACPI, PCIe, SMBIOSGood to Have:Secure Boot / TPM, firmware updates, UEFI shell scriptingExposure to embedded Linux/RTOS and virtualizationLocation: Redmond, WA Disclaimer: Kyyba is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
