University of Colorado Anschutz — School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine invites applications for UCHealth Family Medicine Physician at the Westminster Clinic. Open Rank — Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Position # , Requisition #40527. Job Summary: The clinician (MD or DO) in this position will function as a family medicine provider in the Westminster Family Medicine clinic as a 1.0 FTE clinician without dedicated residency precepting responsibilities. This position will provide high-quality medical care.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Provide full-scope direct patient care in an ambulatory clinical setting.
• Clinical coding and chart review as needed for compliance.
• Assist in supervising advanced practice providers at the clinic.
• Assist in administrative and clinical quality improvement functions related to various programs under the direction of the medical director.
• Teaching and Mentoring: Provide education to medical students during ambulatory rotations.
• Administrative/Professional Development: Maintain eligibility for School of Medicine Faculty; stay current with developments in the field; attend and present at conferences, meetings, and trainings to maintain certification and enhance professional skills; participate in faculty development activities; accept other responsibilities assigned by the Medical Director.

• Senior Instructor: Education — Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO); Board Certified in Family Medicine; Experience — Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency program; Special Skills — Colorado Medical License and current DEA Certificate; ability to be credentialed with the UCH system and UPI Managed Care.
• Assistant Professor: Education — Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO); Board Certified in Family Medicine; Experience — Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency program; Special Skills — Colorado Medical License and current DEA Certificate; ability to be credentialed with the UCH system and UPI Managed Care; ability to meet School of Medicine criteria for assistant professor.
• Associate Professor: Education — Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy; Board Certified in Family Medicine; Experience — Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency program and 7+ years in primary care; Special Skills — Colorado Medical License and current DEA Certificate; credentialing with UCH and UPI Managed Care; ability to meet criteria for associate professor.
• Professor: Education — Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy; Board Certified in Family Medicine; Experience — Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency program and 10+ years in primary care; Special Skills — Colorado Medical License and current DEA Certificate; credentialing with UCH and UPI Managed Care; ability to meet criteria for full professor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in interprofessional, integrated practice or patient-centered medical home (PCMH).
• Interest in education, research, and faculty development.
• Experience with electronic health records (preferably Epic).
• Experience with Telehealth/virtual visits.
• Licensed MAT provider.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinic and Department of Family Medicine faculty and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an organized work environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a team or independently.

• Experience training and developing staff; ability to meet clinic competencies and expectations.

Anticipated pay ranges: Senior Instructor $195,000–$242,000; Assistant Professor $195,000–$242,000; Associate Professor $201,000–$248,000; Professor $207,000–$254,000, plus incentives based on clinical FTE, with salary determined by multiple factors.
