Day to day activities:

• Work within an Agile team
• Analyse requirements, plan, and prepare test data.
• Design, write and implement testing scripts, test tools, SQL queries, and test drivers for a cloud-based collateral system.
• Create, modify, and maintain necessary test data, including XML and JSON formats.
• Create, review, validate and maintains a comprehensive regression test suite.
• Ensure that test case standards are adhered to for all test cases included in regression suite.
• Executes regression suite, reporting results and issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain awareness of new software testing tools and trends within the software testing industry.
• Report and track problems by providing reproducible test cases and working with other product team members to close problem reports.
• Provide the test lead with accurate estimated LOE for updating the regression suite and executing test cases.
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development/business partners with sufficient detail to understand, replicate and resolve.
