UAT Business Analyst

Job Title: UAT Business AnalystJob Location: Tallahassee, FLJob Duration: 8 months + extensionJob Responsibilities:Perform needs analysis, analyze business processes, develop required documentation, and assist project managers in all phases of the projects.Identify and facilitate collecting system requirements with the business program staff.Develop detailed requirements specifications, functional specifications, technical design documents, workflow charts, as well as overall system roadmap artifacts, and all other necessary requirements documentation.Develop test cases and test plans, and coordinate and conduct system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Perform individual UAT on system changes to meet user-defined requirements as assigned by the Department before meeting with business program staff.Facilitate UAT with the business program staff.Facilitate meetings with technical and program staff (i.e., scheduling meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action items).Provide support to the business program staff by writing and maintaining user UAT documentation.Develop results verification documents, issue logs, defect resolution documentation, and overall release sign-off documentation. Lead the end user, business program staff, training and formal new system handover to the business program staff.Produce status reports on the testing activities.Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks.Follow DOH IT processes and coordinate with other DOH IT staff to ensure compliance with DOH standards.Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams, internal stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status.Actively participate in project status meetings.The Contractor shall coordinate efforts with the Contract Manager to achieve cost savings under this agreement, where feasible and practicable. Those efforts include, but are not limited to, identifying common system errors in systems that can be resolved in a manner that achieves cost savings in the State of Florida.

Any cost savings identified must be documented included as part of the monthly status report.Required Experience:Five years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation.Five years of experience with leading, facilitating, and executing user acceptance testing.Five years of experience Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Visio. These are the primary tools used within the Division for documentation.Five years of experience with meeting facilitation and documentation.Five years of experience with creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to the management team.Five years of experience with leading meetings and determining work tasks that need to be completed.Five years of experience with delivering the project in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification.
