Two Skills Tech (CT/XRay)- Days (Rockbridge) (Open)Up to a $30,000 sign on bonus, up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available. HOURS: Primarily Monday - Friday; days with one weekend per month required. Will also cover other shifts as needed. The multi-modality Radiology Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment of patients, using injection skills as needed, and other related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist or other credentialed specialist.

Experience: CT experience strongly preferred. Licensure/Certification: AARRT registry, registry eligible. If not registered in CT, must become CT registered within 2 years of hire date. AHA BLS-HCP required; May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.Responsibilities include:Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images. Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required.May schedule and register patients. Maintain patient files.Evaluates, prepares, positions and observes patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.Complies with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.Trains students and staff as assigned.Interprets information needed to identify patient's requirement relative to specific needs and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.Works with physicians, other healthcare providers and patients.May provide care at other Carilion facilities to meet patient needs.Compensation Range: $30.47 - $45.71Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
