QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Behavioral Health
Experience/Skills
- Demonstrates strong leadership/management experience in a behavioral health setting
- Possesses strong clinical knowledge and group counseling skills
- Understands the needs of geriatric and adult populations
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Master's Level Social Worker, Counselor or Therapist licensed to practice in the state of Indiana

- Consistently complies with established Behavioral Expectations
Leadership/Management
- Works effectively with leadership team at Signet Health and Sullivan County Community Hospital
Administration
- Ensures that evaluations performed by psychological services are completed according to program policies
- Ensures that all interventions (i.e., individual, group and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards
- Coordinates and reviews work of allied professionals
- Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of new programs and services
Referral Development
- Collects and analyzes referral data on a monthly basis
- Identifies and plans strategies to reach existing referral markets and potential new markets
- Informs referral sources of new services offered at hospital
- Performs marketing activities and routinely visits referral sources
Public Relations
- Develops strategies that will define and promote the unit’s programs
- Supervises planning and implementation of outreach activities
- Generates media coverage of mental health topics and unit services
- Assesses effectiveness of public relations program
