About the Role:
Join Connect Staffing Agency of Georgia as a Tufting Machine Operator in Dalton, GA! This exciting position offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery in a dynamic environment, where your skills will contribute to the production of high-quality textiles.
Shift:
Monday - Thursday
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
(some Fridays required depending on production/orders)
Responsibilities:
* Operate tufting machines to produce carpets and rugs with precision.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary for optimal output.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machine issues.
* Adhere to production schedules and meet daily output targets.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation preferred.
* Previous experience operating tufting machines
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
* Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
* Must be able to lift and move heavy materials as required.
