With over 50 years of excellence, our team leads the way in changing how consumers make healthier choices.Come join us and become a part of our winning formula!Essential DutiesResponsible for the operation and quality of the tub line.Ensure machine is set up properly which includes the tub filling scale, check weight, printer, foil sealer, capper, Polypack, and case erector.Set up Tub filling scales. Turn on computer and zero scale, program net weights, set/adjust vibrators, and adjust for proper piece count.Breaking down and cleaning of machines as appropriate.General operation: load tubs; trouble shoot during operation; control waste; attain maximum output/efficiency.Fully responsible for following the batch record and completing required reports accurately.

Fully responsible for the quality of the finished product, i.e. correct weights, tubs, foil, lids, RSC's, shrink wrapping, ticketing, lot number/expiration date coding, and the correct product for the tub.Follow BestCo's LOTO Policy and procedures to ensure that machines or equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy before performing cleaning, service or maintenance activities where there may be an unexpected energization, start-up, or release of stored energy.Complete 15-minute inspections of finished product and record details immediately.Responsible for ensuring maximum line output, efficiency, and productivity.Report all maintenance issues to engineering.Assure all materials are requisitioned ahead of production and unused materials are returned after production.Perform other duties as required by the supervisor to ensure the most efficient operation.Required QualificationsEducation and experience:Minimum of High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 6 months' experience as a machine operator or Certified Production Technician through NCMIWilling and able to breakdown machine for cleaning & sanitizing of machinesMust be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needsLift a minimum 50 lbs.Able to stand for long periods of timeBasic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP, SOP and email)Knowledge and skill requirements:Self-starterHigh level of personal integrityQuality consciousAbility to handle multi-tasks.Good team workerHygiene orientedMechanical aptitudeGood writing and analytical skillsProduction orientedPreferred QualificationsMore than 1 years' experience of machine operatorPrior experience in a cGMP environmentNC Manufacturing Institute graduateEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
