I'm working with a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm looking to add an associate to its growing Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice in Chicago.
This is a great opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices on sophisticated estate planning matters, with exposure to experienced partners across a national platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advise UHNW individuals, families, and family offices on estate planning strategies.
- Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Assist with sophisticated tax planning, wealth transfer strategies, and trust and estate administration.
- Work directly with clients and collaborate with partners across the firm's national practice.
What We're Looking For
- Estate planning experience, ideally within a sophisticated private client practice.
- Experience drafting trusts, wills, and related planning documents.
- Strong understanding of estate and gift tax considerations.
- Tax LL.M., tax certification, or significant tax coursework is a plus.
