Trust & Estates ParalegalLocation: St. Louis (Downtown)/ Hybrid FlexibilitySalary: $75,000 - $90,000 annuallyBenefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package (Health/Dental/Vision/LTD and more)ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the probate process, including opening/closing estates, e-filing, preparing accountings, and handling asset transfers.Assisting with trust process, including funding, administration, and notices.Assisting with the preparation of basic estate planning documents and related trust funding.Assisting with the preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns, individual and fiduciary income tax returns.Communicating with clients and advisors.Qualifications3+ years of probate, trust and tax experience.General understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures.Knowledge of beneficiary designation forms and ability to coordinate with clients' financial advisors.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good judgement.Ability to manage high volume priorities while working with others to meet deadlines.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, especially when working with clients.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.
