Trucking Operations Support SpecialistWe are seeking a reliable and proactive Safety Specialist to assist with day-to-day field operations for our trucking division. This position plays a critical role in supporting drivers, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining communication across teams and vendors.Key responsibilities include:Serving as the primary point of contact for drivers and dispatchers, addressing attendance issues and ensuring timely communication.Collaborating closely with the Safety Manager to ensure field operations comply with company safety policies and standards.Coordinating with external repair vendors by initiating service requests, negotiating pricing, and reviewing invoices for accuracy.Supporting the implementation and enforcement of company safety regulations and procedures.Assisting with driver recruitment and onboarding, including participating in interviews and conducting safety orientations.Organizing and leading regular safety meetings and training sessions for drivers.Managing yard inventory and optimizing space utilization to maintain an efficient and organized yard.Qualifications include:Entry level to 3 years of experience in logistics or transportation.Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a high level of reliability, accountability, and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for data entry and communication.Bilingual in Korean and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build positive relationships with drivers and team members.Team-oriented, with effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and able to thrive in a fast-paced trucking environment.
