Contract Administrative AssistantThe Contract Administrative Assistant will provide support to contracting team, and other departments, as needed and will report to the Director of Contract Administration.Key DutiesRoutine office activitiesManage subcontractor insuranceMaintain logs and database of subcontractorsPerform filing and document controlOther duties as assignedQualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Duty satisfactorily. This position typically is semi entry-level, however it requires a minimum of one (1) or more years of previous experience in an administrative support role.A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be well organized and detail orientedMust be able to work with constant interruptionMust be proficient with MS Office to include; Word, Excel and PowerPointPrevious experience in construction and contracting is preferredMust have strong customer servicePrevious office administration experience in a construction setting is highly desiredPhysical Demands. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an Office Clerk, to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Frequent ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;Ability to drive a company vehicle for various recruiting events.Frequent ability to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone;Frequent ability to operate standard office equipment, using hand and arm dexterity;Frequent ability to navigate through office environment, including periodic use of stairs and/or elevator, as needed;Infrequent ability to lift general office documents and materials, up to 10 pounds;Frequent vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment.
