Truck Driver
The Truck driver is responsible for transporting equipment and material throughout and between job sites.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Obeying traffic laws, and following established traffic and transportation procedures
- Operating company vehicle in a safe manner and compliant to all State and Federal DOT standards and regulations
- Inspecting and maintaining vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
- Reporting vehicle accident/incident immediately to management
- Maintaining a truck log according to State and Federal regulations
- Transporting materials to and from specified job sites
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Daily inspection of truck
- Communicating equipment and material issues
- Other duties as assigned
Required education, qualifications, and experience include:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous experience with transporting equipment and materials
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Previous experience in the energy services industry preferred
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
- Must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements
- Must be able to travel and cross state lines
- Must have the ability to effectively operate a variety of vehicles safely and work reliably both independently and in a team setting
Basic knowledge of MS Office preferred
