- Responsible for contacting students and families by phone and home visits.
- Monitor occurrences of absenteeism, unexcused absences, and excessive tardiness.
- Gather and assess attendance data for the district.
- Prepares monthly reports of the Truancy Program for the Assistant Superintendent.
- Locates truant students, and patrols schools, parks, and streets to maintain attendance and safety.
- Reports to law enforcement agencies any acts that contribute to truancy, delinquency, or injury of students.
- Verifies parents and student residency.
- Writes and submits case reports on investigative findings of students.
- Attends district and school safety meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate Degree required/Bachelor's degree preferred
