Description
Are you passionate about helping students succeed in school? We are seeking a Truancy Mentor to work within Check & Connect , an evidence-based program focused on preventing truancy and keeping students engaged in their education. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding students back on the path to success .
What You'll Do
As a Truancy Mentor , you will:
  • Work directly with students to encourage school attendance and engagement .
  • Monitor attendance and follow up with students and families to address concerns.
  • Collaborate with school staff and community partners to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Serve as a mentor, advocate, and service coordinator to help students overcome challenges.
  • Conduct home visits to stay connected with families and provide ongoing support.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $18/hour
  • Mileage reimbursement: $0.50/mile
