Dynamic apparel company is seeking an experienced trim development professional to manage trim development across all departments for a growing activewear business. This role will oversee the end-to-end development process, from sourcing and submitting new trims to coordinating with suppliers and managing timelines, costs, and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in trim development.
- Hands-on experience developing activewear trims, including zippers, drawcords, bungee cords, stoppers, elastics, and related components.
- Proactively research and present emerging trim trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams at the start of each season to develop new ideas and innovative trim concepts.
- Maintain accurate trim development records and ensure PLM data is complete, up to date, and consistent throughout the development process.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple developments across departments and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working directly with overseas suppliers and cross-functional teams.
