Duties
- Lead complex personal injury cases through all litigation stages in NC District and Superior Courts.
- Investigate claims, develop case strategy, and draft briefs and motions.
- Conduct depositions, discovery, expert consultations, and witness preparation.
- Try cases to verdict, presenting evidence and making arguments.
- Provide legal counsel and set realistic expectations for clients.
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Licensed in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
- At least 5 years of plaintiff's litigation experience in NC required.
- SC Bar admission preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex personal injury cases.
- Deep understanding of civil litigation rules and trial strategy.
- Excellent writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
Education
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Licensed with the North Carolina State Bar.
